We see the arts as a tool for social engagement, to develop young leaders, teamwork and community. We are operating on the premise that art is a powerful creative medium for advocacy of the issues faced in the community.
Art as not just being limited to the performing, literary and fine arts, but art as an expression of creativity in all spheres, therefore scientific creativity and innovation as art, entrepreneurship as art, leadership as art.
Through the arts we want to begin to see the emergence of young people as leaders in the community who are able to challenge the status quo and evoke new thinking. We seek to help children discover their innate talents and abilities and harvest these to provide leadership and innovation in order to better society.
We don’t see ourselves as having all the solutions, but we want to be a laboratory for the research and development of ideas. We intend to take very hands on approach, which will develop a sense of community ownership of the project among our young people.
